Great Women

Lately I have been inspired by so many people that I feel in awe to be able to rub shoulders with such great women. Thinking back I never pictured my life quite like this, but as a kid you just have so many dreams of what life is going to be like that its easy to forget to enjoy the journey. And what a journey it is! I never dreamed my life would be so good, in spite of all of the ups and downs, I feel so blessed and thankful for all that I have been given.
At the beginning of this summer, I was ready for it, excited to plant the garden, I was going to have summer school, and just conquer the world. (well my world) Then reality set in. I got called to be Primary President. Apparently conquering my world isn't what Heavenly Father had in store for me. I guess He really wanted to stretch and humble me. Stretch me out across the yard, laundry, kids, husband, ward and teach me that I am nothing!! I am nothing without the help of a loving Heavenly Father. I can't take care of the kids, the yard, hubby or the million other things that moms do, without the help of the Lord.
Its so easy to see others who can do it better than me. One thing I have learned is that Heavenly Father cares about all of us. He especially cares about the progress of these little children. I have to ask myself, in regards to my own family if I am teaching them more about Babylon or about Zion. I hope its the Latter.
I still have so far to go, and hopefully I remember its about the journey! Without the Journey, there won't be a Zion. To all of the Women who inspire me daily, thanks for helping me to do better, be better and encourage me to live up to divine potential. I love ya!

well, what goes around comes around...you have done your fair share in the inspiration department for me! as to life...i think we just need to enjoy the ride. if we are doing what is right we will be blessed and guided and all will turn out right. even without summer school :)
